The paper focuses on the importance of understanding who you are, building self-love, and learning how to speak up for what you need. It discusses how more accessible, student-centered, and empowering tools to support this process need to be created for students.

Highlighted within this paper is the importance of teachers, researchers, and others who work with students taking more responsibility for their role in making schools supportive, inclusive, and fair.

By working together, everyone can help create a school environment where all students -- especially those who are neurodiverse -- feel safe, understood, and empowered!

This image is a creative and surreal collage featuring a detailed drawing of a human skull against a soft pink background. The skull has several intriguing elements including a factory illustration set on top of the skull like a crown. Above this it read, “dream factory”. There are also layers of flowers and butterflies collaged on top of the skull, as well as additional text that reads “extraordinary things to create”
