School Change:
An
Accessible
Resource Guide

The independent project titled "School Change: An Accessible Resource Guide," was co-created by Caroline Weaver and Analía Muñoz Dobson. The slides are designed to be a toolbox that hopes to support students interested in improving  and changing their school environment.

There are many sections of the slides, and each breaks down big ideas and provides worksheets that encourage students to reflect, engage in open discussion, and recognize their expertise about their school and what could be changed. It makes school change feel achievable and accessible to everyone!

Within the guide, students will be introduced to key terms like self-advocacy, collective action, and activism. We explain the differences between long-term and short-term goals, explore who gets a voice, break down why change matters, and include examples of past school change projects led by school aged students.
