Accessible Little Dictionary

The Accessible Little Dictionary is a

toolbox created to help students more easily understand big and/or tricky words.

It breaks down these terms — that are often found in education, research, and disability discussions —

and makes them simple and clearer.

This dictionary is designed to make sure everyone, no matter how they learn, can understand important concepts and ideas. Whether it’s explaining what “neurodiverse” means or what an “IEP” is, this dictionary makes sure that students have the tools they need to speak up for themselves and feel confident in navigating the spaces around them.
